Permits To Work > Saving a Draft Permit

When creating a Permit within the Hammer Tech system, since there may be multiple steps involved prior to it being considered finalised (e.g getting all the required signatures), it is possible to save a Draft copy to return to and submit at a later time.

To save a draft, there will be certain fields that are required, for example the Permit type, Employer, Zone and the Start and Finish Time, (However, apart from the permit type, these can be edited later).

  • Once you have completed any necessary fields, select the blue Save Draft icon at the bottom of the page.


  • To view any permits that have the status of 'draft', navigate to Permits > View All and select the blue filter icon in the top right to only view those in draft mode.
