How Do I Find / Change The Primary Contact?

Finding the current Primary Contact

  • Log into HammerTech (if you are not already logged in), then navigate using the left hand menu and select > Employers > Active.
  • Select the Employer from the list and scroll to Primary Contact.
  • The person listed within this box is the Primary Contact.

Changing the Primary Contact

Primary Contacts can be created at a company level for a subcontractor (across all projects) or can be assigned on an individual project basis (different contact for each project, can be more than one also.)

  • Log into HammerTech (if you are not already logged in), then navigate using the left hand menu and select > Employers > Active.
  • Scroll to the required Employer and select the Employer from the list. 
  • Select the plus sign to the right of the primary contact 
  • If there are any existing accounts already set up in the system, you will be able to select them from the drop down, otherwise type in their email address and press Validate.

Note: If the email address you enter has already been associated with a user in the system, you will receive an error message when you try to validate.

  • Under Contact Type, select whether this person will be the primary contact on a Company level, or just for this Project. 
  • Fill in the rest of the Primary Contact details and press submit.
  • The contact will receive an email with their account details and a link to activate their account.
