View / Edit / Resolve / Send Reminder for Open Observations

You can view, edit, export, resolve, and send a reminder about any Open Observations.

Instructions

To Search For An Open Observation

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select Company Overview from the project drop-down in the top right hand corner
3. Search for the reference (e.g. OBS-1) to be taken straight to the observation created.

To View Open Observations

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select the project from the project drop-down in the top right hand corner
3. Select OBSERVATIONS > Open Observations
4. From here you can view the list of all Open Observations for that project
5. To view a list of filtered Observations, select the Filter button in the top right corner

To View the Inspection, Incident, or Meeting where the Observation was Raised

1. Click on the reference number (i.e. ISP-978) under the Observation Details column.

To Export an Open Observation

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select the project from the project drop-down in the top right hand corner
3. Select OBSERVATIONS > Open Observations
4. Select the Observation that you want to export
5. Select Download on the top right hand corner > Select Pdf

To Send Reminder, Edit, Review, or Resolve an Open Observation

1. Select Send Reminder to send a reminder to the subcontractor
2. Select the Edit button in the bottom right of the Observation > Select Save Changes once the Observation has been edited
3. Select the Resolved button to resolve an Open Observation
4. Select the Review button to add New Comment

To Reject an Open Observation Fix

1. Click on the Review button
2. Enter any comments you wish to send to the Nominated Representative
3. Click on the Add Comment & Reject Fix icon

Note: The Nominated Representative will be notified of the rejection along with any comments you entered, so they can review and attempt to fix the Observation
