Progress Monitoring

HammerTech provides a solution for you to monitor the progress of project specific Inspections and Checklists via the Progress module. This module allows you to have a simple visual view of the progress of Inspections and Checklists that are linked to a specific location.

Note: If you wish to use Progress Monitoring, please contact your HammerTech Customer Success representative, as a setting will need to be enabled. 

Before you start using Progress Monitoring you will need to configure both your Location Hierarchy and Location Mapping via the Project Settings menu. We will go through this below.

LOCATION HIERARCHY

Firstly, if you have not yet done so, you will need to go to the relevant Project and set up your Location Hierarchy via Project Settings. We have an article on how to do this HERE.

Note: You can edit existing Location Hierarchy configurations by navigating to the Location Hierarchy menu and selecting an existing item from the list.

LOCATION MAPPING

Once your Location Hierarchy is all set up, you can move on to Location Mapping. This is accessed via the left-hand navigation menu, under Project Settings. Follow these steps to set up:

1. Click the blue + symbol in the top right
2. Select if you are configuring locations for either a Checklist or an Inspection
3. Select the specific Inspection or Checklist you wish to configure
4. Using the Locations list, tick the checkbox next to any location that needs to be associated with the Inspection or Checklist you are configuring
5. Once all the relevant boxes are ticked, click the Save button in the bottom right corner

PROGRESS MONITORING

To access Progress Monitoring, locate the Progress button in the left-hand navigation menu.

Once you click on the Progress button, it will take you to the Progress Overview page.

The Progress Overview page will summarise all the Inspections and Checklists you have on the go, grouping them by the location they are associated with. Please see the image below for a more detailed explanation of available functions.

The search bar within the Progress Monitoring module allows for Inspections and Checklists to be searched.

You can click on any of the displayed Inspections or Checklists to drill into them further. Once in the detailed view, you can drill down into a variety of items, as shown in the below diagram.

Note: When the red 'Outstanding Observation' icon is selected, you will be taken to view Open Observations for that location from the selected Inspection or Checklist.

Locations can be expanded to show a drop-down based on the Location Hierachy 

APPLYING THE FILTER

When the Filter button is selected, users can choose to filter by Status (Not Started, In Progress, Completed) and by Location.
