HammerTech offer two Apps for both Android and iOS (Apple) devices via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. These Apps are the HammerTech Inspect App and HammerTech Sign In App.
We often get asked if there are minimum device requirements to run these Apps.
Our experience over time has shown that having a device with the following...
- Greater than 4GB RAM, preferable 6GB RAM
- Can run a supported version of the Android or Apple iOS Operating System
- Compatible with sim cards for access to mobile data (at sites where Wi-Fi connection may be limited)
What do we recommend?
Whilst we can't recommend a specific brand or model, we have generally found that devices under $300 will have reduced RAM and run on the 'lite' version of the Apple iOS or Android Operating Systems. These devices are not recommended.
Usually spending upward of $300 will get you a more capable and reliable device.
