You can turn on the ability for workers to sign in via a Pre Task Plan as an alternative to doing this via the HammerTech Sign In App. Where a worker does sign in via a PTP their signature will be captured on the PTP as well as added to the Site Diary and Sign In Book. This streamlines the flow a worker needs to go through in order to accept a PTP and sign in on site.
In order to activate this function, follow these steps...
- Go to Administration
- Click on Pre-Task Plans Sign In
- Select which projects you want this active on
- Click Save Changes
When creating a PTP, ensure you add workers via the Worker Assignment area. Once you have added workers in, the PTP will add a QR code that you export (to PDF) and print and use where required.
When workers scan this QR code, they will be asked to select their name from a drop down list, then proceed to sign off on the PTP.
This will also add them as a Sign In worker to both the Site Diary and Sign In Book.
NOTE: If the worker has already signed in via the Sign In App, their PTP sign off will NOT impact the existing Site Diary and Sign In Book data. It will just record the signature against the PTP.
