HSEQ Inspections > Reviewing And Closing Out Issues

As a site management user of the HammerTech system, you will receive a notification when an issue is raised or has been marked as resolved by a Subcontractor. If you are manually managing the process (no subcontractor involvement) then no notification will be received. 

  • Log into HammerTech (if you are not already logged in).
  • To view an individual Issue Select > View Details from within the Notification window.

  • Or to view a list of Issues, Navigate using the left hand menu to Issues > Open Issues
  • To see how you can filter the list of Issues using the blue filter icon in the top right corner, read HSEQ Issues - View Open Issues
  • When issues are first raised by a subcontractor, you will need to assign a responsible party by selecting Assign next to the relevant issue

  • Note: Reminders can be sent to Subcontractors for any Issues requiring attention Select > Send Reminder.
  • You can change who the issue is assigned to by selecting > Edit and then adjusting the responsible party.
  • To view an enlarged version of the images select them and a zoomed in version will be displayed
  • Via the list, an Issue can be approved easily via the Mark Resolved button.
  • Alternatively, to review the Safety Issue Select > Review. The complete details of the Safety Issue will be shown, including a full history of all comments added. At this point, the user has the option to Add Comment and/or Approve Fix, or Add Comment & Reject Fix.

  • Note: Once a new comment is added you can either select Add Comment or select Mark Issue as Resolved and the comment will be saved and added to the now resolved issue

  • Note: Where an item has been edited or reviewed, a Notification will be sent to the Subcontractor advising of this. Similarly, once an issue is marked as Rejected, The Subcontractor receives a notification and is then required to make the recommended modifications (as per the comments) and resubmit for approval.
