JHA > Assign Personnel And Capture Signatures

Thank you for your patience while we update our screenshots to the new look. The functionality remains the same, just the look has changed.

Note: Personnel can only be assigned to a JHA after the initial creation of the JHA. JHA's can also be assigned when created by another Employer (See JHA > Assigning JHA To Other Employers)

  • Log into HammerTech (if you are not already logged in), then navigate using the left hand menu > JHA > View All to list all JHA's created by your company. 
  • Choose the JHA you are wanting to associate personnel to and Select> the blue settings button on the top right hand side of the screen (cog symbol) > Edit.
  • Scroll down to Personnel assigned to this JHA and select the appropriate individuals by using the tick boxes.

  • Select > Save Changes.
  • The system will take you back to the JHA that you have assigned the personnel to.

To capture signatures on a JHA:

  • Stay on the chosen JHA (if completed the steps above) or navigate using the left hand menu JHA > View All and choose the appropriate JHA
  • Scroll down to Personnel who are assigned to this JHA
  • Select the required green Sign box and use your touchscreen (or mouse) to sign the form
  • The option to send individual reminders to Personnel who have not signed the JHA is also available by selecting Send Reminder

  • Select > Signed. 
  • Repeat this process for each Personnel and/or JHA.

Capturing Signature Remotely on a Tablet, Smart Phone or PC

After sending a reminder personnel will receive an email and/or an sms with a link to the JHA that they can sign on a tablet, smart phone or using the mouse on a PC (See example below)
