How To Update the HT Sign-in App

From time to time HammerTech will be releasing new functionality for the HT Sign-in app. To make sure that you are using the latest version of the HT Sign-in app, you will need to download it from the App Store or Google Play.

This article will explain how to update your HT Sign-in app to the latest version, for:

• Android devices
• iOS devices

Requirements

Before following these instructions, make sure the following requirements have been met.

• Your device has been updated to the latest supported version of software.
  This will make sure your device is also using all the latest Apple/Android features available.
  You can check if the version on device is supported here:
  Apple iOS: https://support.apple.com/en-au/ios/update 
  Android: https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en 
• Access to your company’s Google Play or Apple App Store account - the HT Sign-in app needs to be downloaded and therefore requires you hold an account for the Google Play (for Android devices) or Apple App Store (for IOS devices). If you are unsure of your account details, contact the System Admin of your company.

Instructions

Android devices

On your Android device:

1. Access the Google Play store - https://play.google.com/ 
2. Log in to your company's account
3. In the search, within Google Play, search for HammerTech
4. Select the HammerTech Signin App from the list
5. Towards the top of the screen, select the green Update icon

Your HammerTech Sign-in App will now update to the latest version on your device.

Note: If you do not see a green Update icon, and can only see Open, then you are already using the latest version of the app and there is no need to update.

iOS Devices

 On your iOS device:

1. Access the App Store - https://www.apple.com/us/ios/app-store/  
2. Log in to your company's account
3. In the search, within the App Store, search for HammerTech
4. Select the HammerTech Sign-in Book from the list
5. Select the blue Update icon 

Your HammerTech Sign-in App will now update to the latest version on your device.

Note: If you can only see Open, then you are already using the latest version of the app and there is no need to update. If you see the option Get, then you will just need to proceed with downloading the app.
