Flagging Workers

This is a Feature Flag that can be turned on to allow you to flag workers at a project or system level.

To enable this feature, please speak to your Implementation or Account Manager.

By flagging a worker in HammerTech, they will:

• be restricted from quick inducting or being imported onto any new projects (system wide flag)
• receive a warning message when signing in using the Sign in App
• trigger a notification to be sent to specific users/distributions groups when signing into a project where they are flagged (this workflow can be configured by Implementation or Support upon request)

Note: Only Project Admins can flag Workers on the project, and Admin users can flag workers on both the project and the system.

Instructions

To Flag Personnel from a Project / System:

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select your required project from the Company Overview drop-down in the top right hand corner
3. Select PERSONNEL > All Personnel
4. Select the profile of the worker you wish to flag on the project
5. Select the Options cog in the top right corner
6. Select Flag Worker On Project or Flag Worker on System (must be a company admin in order to see the System wide option).
7. Provide the details or reason for flagging the worker
8. Select Save

To reverse the flag follow the same steps as mentioned above by selecting 'Remove Worker's Project / System Flag'.

Once a worker has been flagged, all users (including standard users and employer users) will see:

• The Flagged worker in the personnel list with the status of 'FLAGGED'
• You will also be able to see additional information such as Status, Flagged by, Flagged Date and Details when you click into the personnel profile. 

To View Worker Flagged History

1. Log into HammerTech
2. Select your required project from the Company Overview drop-down in the top right hand corner
3. Select PERSONNEL > All Personnel
4. Select the profile of the worker you wish to view
5. Scroll down and select the blue 'View Aditional Confidential Data' button, enter the reason you need access

You can see details and reasons for the flagged the worker along with the dates and name of the User (see below)

Note:

• Users will not be able to approve the orientation of a worker after they have been flagged

• If a Flagged worker is completing the Enrollment for a new project they will receive the following notification ‘Unable to complete this process - speak to your supervisor’.

• If a Flagged worker Signs into the HT Sign-In App, a warning notification will display ‘Unable to complete this process - speak to your supervisor’. However, this will still successfully sign them in and they will appear within the signin book for that day.

• Workflows can be set up so that users can be notified when a flagged worker attempts to sign in.

• Employer users can see the details of their own flagged workers including Name, Date, Time, and the reason entered.

• Users will not be able to import flagged workers onto projects. 

• If a Flagged worker is a Nominated Representative, once they log into HammerTech they cannot view information.
