Pre-Task Plans > Configuring Hazards and Controls

  • Log into HammerTech (if you are not already logged in), then navigate using the left-hand menu > Administration > Hazard Controls
  • Once on the Hazard Controls page, click on the arrow to view Hazards with configured Controls along with the configured locations for each Hazard and Control
    • Note: The option cog next to each Hazard allows you to add a control, edit or delete the Hazard.

  • To add new Hazards, select the Option Cog in the upper right corner. From here you can add new Hazards or Controls.

  • When adding a new Hazard, enter the name of the Hazard in the free text field. Select the projects and regions the Hazard is applicable to. Select Create to add the new Hazard.

  • When adding a new Control, select the name of the Hazard in the drop-down. Enter the name of the Control in the free text field. Select the projects and regions the Control applies to. Select Create to add the new Control, or select the up arrow to add another control.
