Editing or Replacing a Primary Contact

The Primary Contact is an important role within the HammerTech system. This individual can be set up to be the same contact for All Projects for a company, or just for a Specific Project. Depending on the size of the Employer, this individual is not usually the person on site. They will most likely be office based and will be responsible for ensuring their personnel have completed Inductions and submitted SWMS.

Checking who is the current Company Level Primary Contact

In order to check who the current Company Level Primary Contact is, follow these steps...

  1. Log into HammerTech
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Employers
  3. A drop down menu will expand, click on Active

  4. Select the Employer from the list displayed
  5. The Company Level Primary Contact will be displayed in the top right corner

Editing details of a Company Level Primary Contact

In order to edit the Company Level Primary Contact, follow these steps...

  1. Locate the Employer and Primary Contact via the steps shown above
  2. Click the settings cog under the Action heading
  3. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on Edit
  4. You now have the ability to edit...
    - First Name
    - Last Name
    - Mobile
    - Site Notifications
    - Confidential data access
  5. Once you are finished click the Submit button

IMPORTANT: You are not able to edit the email of a user account as this is linked directly to their login credentials.
If an email address is wrong, you will need to delete this user and re-add them with the correct email address.

Checking who is the current Project Level Primary Contact

In order to check who the current Project Level Primary Contact is, follow these steps...

  1. Firstly locate the Employer via the steps shown above
  2. Under the Associated Projects menu select the project you wish to check who the Primary Contact is
  3. This will load the Employer details for that project, including the Project Level Primary Contact (if one is set up)
  4. You can tell who the Project Level Primary Contact is by looking at the column called Type where it will say Project

In order to edit the Project Level Primary Contact, follow these steps...

  1. Locate the Employer and Project via the steps shown above
  2. Click the settings cog under the Action heading
  3. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on Edit
  4. You now have the ability to edit...
    - First Name
    - Last Name
    - Mobile
    - Site Notifications

  5. Once you are finished click the Submit button
