An Integration is now available between HammerTech and CMiC that will sync Projects, Business Partners, and Hours Worked
To connect CMiC to HammerTech, please contact your Customer Success Representative who will guide you through the below steps and will complete Internal Actions that must be run by a HammerTech team member.
Pre-Requisites for Integration
- To integrate HammerTech and CMiC, clients will require a licensed CMiC Mobile server on-premise
- Server purchase to be coordinated by the client with CMiC
- Once purchased, the CMiC mobile server has to be available over the public internet.
- Create a user account with the required licenses
- For a project to sync in HammerTech, it should be an open project in the CMiC portal.
- The address is mandatory for all projects to sync within Hammertech
- A user account with company-level admin permissions in both HammerTech and CMiC.
- For a project to sync in Hammertech, it should be an open project in CMiC.
- Employers should be active
- For a project to sync in HammerTech, it should be an open project in the CMiC portal.
- The following access is required for each module:
Access Type | Module |
Read Access | Projects, Business Partner, Business Partners on Projects |
Read and Write Access | Daily Journal (Hours Sycned) |
HammerTech Setup
To configure and test the connection with the CMiC API, go to the Administration > CMIC Connector Credentials and fill in the required fields
Click Save Changes
Field Example:
CmiC Connector Credential Example : https://mobtest.cmiccloudr12.com/cmictestrti
- The Server Name is the initial portion of the i.e. URL https://mobtest.cmiccloud12.com
- The Environment Name is found after the / found after the initial portion: cmictestrti
- UserName and Password come from the User’s personal credentials
Select Test Connection to see if the credentials are valid
- A successful connection will return the number of projects and business partners in CMiC that will be synced to HammerTech
- Invalid Credentials will show a "Failed" message

Contact your HammerTech Customer Success representative who complete the final steps of the integration.
Note:
From Administration: CMiC, Sync Options are now available to turn on or off data syncs. Selected options will sync with CMiC.
